Constipation

September 30th, 2006

Not having a bowel movement every day doesn’t necessarily mean you’re constipated. Constipation can be defined as having a bowel movement fewer than three times per week and the stools are typically hard, dry, small in size, and difficult to eliminate. Sometimes it is painful to have a bowel movement and straining, bloating, and the sensation of a full bowel may be experienced.
