We all know about the benefits of adding extra vitamins and minerals to our diets. However, people have been using other supplements to their diets for literally thousands of years. Most of these are natural, meaning that they come from plants and herbs found in nature. The tradition is very strong in Asia, particularly in China and there has been a surge in the use of what is called traditional Chinese medicine, from which many weight loss supplements take their start.
