Even though my mom suggest some interesting cold remedies to me, but none of them have worked like I need them to. She has told me to put a cough drop in a bowl with boiling water and to then cover my head with a towel and put it over the bowl. I swear I saw that in a movie once, and I wonder if it really works or if she is pulling my leg. She’s a nurse, so that is why I asked her for cold remedies, but she is also a smart aleck, so really don’t know what to think. I do know that it doesn’t work very well, though it does offer minimal comfort on my worst days.
Prevention is another aspect you should consider aside from cold remedies. You can find effective ways to prevent the common cold. One here is to ALWAYS wash your hands. Keep them clean, because every time you touch things, you pick up germs. Naturally you’ll touch your mouth, eyes, etc afterwards, which can get you sick. Cleanliness is next to godliness.

To be sure, if you think you may be suffering from Gynecomastia it is best to have this verified by a doctor, as the procedures for getting rid of man boobs caused by Gynecomastia are quite different than getting rid of man boobs caused by pseudogynecomastia. Although victims of pseudogynecomastia share the same symptoms, this condition is instead caused by fat build up instead of the formation of actual breast tissue. Treatments of Gynecomastia are actually quite drastically more radical than those of pseudogynecomastia.

A trip to the hospital is not exactly one of the Wisconsin tourist destinations that visitors want to see, but a certain percentage of them show up there. Usually it is for minor problems such as a sprain they got while out hiking, but there are the more serious conditions that show up also. I am advocating that all campgrounds have some sort of first aid training for their employees. The training could be very basic up to EMT level depending on the park and the people. In one instance I was sitting at the campfire cooking my supper when an ambulance showed up in the campground with sirens screaming and lights flashing. An elderly woman had suffered a heart attack and had called the emergency services on her cell phone. She passes away sometime between the phone call and the arrival of the ambulance. Had the campground had someone who could have preformed CPR and had that fact published somewhere where everyone could see, that lady may have survived. Or even if only the emergency services had known that there was a first aid trained person onsite, they could have called and dispatched someone who could have gotten there earlier.

The ugly, embarrassing, and sometimes painful condition known as onychomycosis, or “toenail rot”, “nail rot”, “rotting nails”, etc. can often be treated successfully if the treatment program is begun at an early stage of the disease. Onychomycosis is caused by a fungus similar to the one that causes athletes foot. It causes thickening, splitting and discoloration of the toenails and fingernails. If nail rot disease is left untreated, it can lead to nail damage so bad that expensive and painful surgery is required to stop. If caught early, toenail rot can often be treated naturally without the need for expensive prescription drugs. Read more about natural nail rot fungus treatments in Treat Toenail Rot Fungus.

50% of Americans are Carrying Parasites
|
|
Are you carrying parasites around in your body? So if you don’t have worms the person beside you does.
Humans can actually play host to more than a hundred different types of parasites, ranging from microscopic ones to tapeworms that are several feet long. Contrary to popular belief, parasites are not restricted to our colon alone, but can be found in any other part of the body - in the lungs, the liver, in the muscles and joints, in the esophagus, the brain, the blood, the skin and even in the eyes!
“Parasites are the missing diagnosis in the genesis of many chronic health problems, including diseases of the gastrointestinal tract and endocrine system. Most individuals would be truly amazed if they knew the extraordinarily high number of Americans who are unknowingly infected by parasites
This is unfortunately a lot more frequent than most would like to believe. According to United Nations data:
“Overall, about 1.5 billion people have roundworms, making it the third most common human infection in the world. Whipworm infects 1 billion people… More than 1.3 billion people carry hookworm in their gut, and 265 million people are infected with schistosomes.”
It is true that most of these infections occur in developing countries, but the rate of parasitic-related disorders in North America is skyrocketing. An astounding number of people would test positive for parasites. This is from the Parasitology Department of the University of Cambridge, England: “Pinworm. An extremely common nematode infection, particularly in temperate areas such as Western Europe and North America… It has been estimated that the annual incidence of infection is over 200 million, this probably being a conservative figure. Samples of caucasian children in the USA and Canada have shown incidences of infection of 30% to 80%, with similar levels in Europe.”
It is extremely easy to come in contact with parasites. Contaminated water, undercooked meats, improperly washed fruits and vegetables, are just some of the common sources of infections. Transmission from pets or other infected persons is also quite common. Overuse of antibiotics further adds to this problem as this can interfere with normal intestinal flora and lower the body’s resistance.
