Ear Wax Removal Can Cause Tinnitus!

A situation where an individual listens to sounds from inside their ears or within their head is referred to as Tinnitus. This condition may be due to some type of problem that affect the inner ear which is referred to as Meniere’s Disease, the middle or outer ear. Tinnitus can be very mild in some cases and extremely loud in others. Many people don’t realize tinnitus is a real condition that can be treated and they tend to suffer with these symptoms instead of seeking medical help.

Noises and or sensations such as these are very irritating and can affect your job duties, fun activities, and your life. It’s impossible to concentrate with these noises. Multitasking, for instance when someone is talking to you while a radio or the television is playing, can be very difficult.

The strange sounds are often compared to phantom noises, ranging from a variety of tones and pitches. While some people hear low rumbling-type sounds, most experience a high pitched squeal. A single ear, or both at the same time, can be afflicted with tinnitus. For some people it is a consistent noise and for others it comes and goes.

Tinnitus has no outward source so generally, it can be only heard by the person who is experiencing it. The other form is called subjective tinnitus. Sometimes, though very rare, the doctor can hear the same sounds you hear when conducting an examination. This type is known as tinnitus objective

There are many different symptoms of tinnitus that can affect everyone differently. Some complain of regular headaches and pain in the ears. Sometimes people say that they have a sense of fullness in both or one ears. A common feature of tinnitus is a feeling of dizziness on sudden movement

Tinnitus is often associated with depression. It is believed that the aggravation of dealing with the noises causes a person to feel depressed. Logically, this must mean that when the tinnitus is successfully treated it will help with the symptoms of depression.

If you have any of the symptoms for tinnitus you should visit your health care physician. Different examinations can be performed to discover the source of the noise. The more information you can provide for your doctor the easier it will be for them to determine the cause and the treatment for your condition.

Symptom can be reduced by doing a few simple things. For one, you need to limit any type of loud noise. Be very careful when doing ear wax removal since this can highly damage your inner ear. You really need to ensure that you are sufficiently well rested or you will begin to be run down. Lower your salt intake and try to keep your blood pressure under control. To reduce the symptoms of tinnitus, work on improving your general health.

Some people will deny they hear any noises, not realizing they have a medical condition. If you notice any of the symptoms for tinnitus listed above you should see your health care provider to be tested.
