August 21st, 2008

For many years the general perception regarding eggs and cholesterol was that high cholesterol meant risking heart ailments. So, a lot of people are not aware of the fact that people that suffer from heart attacks have the same cholesterol levels as people that have not developed heart diseases.

Through research, it has been established that eggs and cholesterol are actually complimentary since eggs help improve cholesterol (LDL and HDL). This in turn means less risk of suffering heart attacks or strokes.

This is a new way of looking at the issue of eggs and cholesterol so, it is a solution to the dilemma that most people face which is whether to eat eggs or not. However, things have been simplified further, when in this regard the American Heart Association gave the go-ahead for people to eat an egg per day.
