Having Allergic Rashes?
May 9th, 2008Allergic rashes appear to be the most common symptoms of skin allergies that manifest in our skin. The allergic symptoms such as itchiness, swelling, or some form of dermatitis are typical to allergic rashes. Even though that allergies and skin rashes are often not life threatening, they are, however often causes discomfort and inconvenience in many circumstances. In certain cases, they can even develop into another health complication issues.
Urticaria, Contact Dermatitis and Eczema appear to be the three most common type of skin allergic rashes.
Urticaria is also known as hives. Hives can occur when the skin is in contact with or exposed to allergens which may trigger different kinds of allergic rashes reaction. Foods, infections, latex rubber, insect bites or stings, drugs, medications and illnesses are reported to be the most common causes of hives symptom.
Contact dermatitis is a term for a skin reaction to allergens or irritants that come into contact with. Cosmetic ingredients, plants, flowers, animal, metals, rubber material or even clothes are the common sources of contact dermatitis infection which often cause itchy and cause skin swollen and irritation.
Eczema, on the other hand, is the other form of dermatitis or inflammation of the upper layers of the skin when allergens present in the atmosphere. These allergic rashes often appear in creases of the skin for older children, and they can occur in the face and eyes for infants and younger children.
