Insurance Bad Faith

September 27th, 2008

I was in a car accident last year. My back is messed up in several places, and I banged my knee pretty good. Well, I started going to a chiropractor shortly after the car accident, knowing that my policy would specifically cover me for that sort of accident. You see, the other driver didn’t have insurance, and I had uninsured motorist coverage. Anyway, after a month I still hadn’t received anything from the insurance company. Turns out they were stalling, and I was quickly running out of money for my doctor bills. So, I looked up an article called, “Insurance Bad Faith” and dropped it off with my car insurance company, telling them I was going to hire a Los Angeles auto accident lawyer. I had my medical bills covered within a week.
