No Cure! Only Tinnitus Remedies?
November 23rd, 2008With the increasing decibel levels of our world comes an increasing incidence of tinnitus. A condition that has no cure but only tinnitus remedies. A lot of tinnitus patients say that a main cause of tinnitus is being exposed to loud noises.
It’s no secret that our world has become much noisier, and it’s difficult for anyone to avoid exposure to loud noises. The most negative thing about tinnitus is that there’s no way to cure it. How weird is this when millions of sufferers worldwide have tinnitus.
In many cases, tinnitus is self-inflicted, particularly with the rising popularity of devices such as the Apple iPod and other MP3 players. This trend will likely continue as such devices grow in popularity, and, to make matters even worse, almost every cell phone now is an MP3 player too.
Such devices are quite popular among students, commuters, and sportsmen and women. The lat mentioned typically will use the MP3 player as a means of passing time and masking the noise and clutter all around them as they commute.
The problem is that, since trains, buses, and traffic are so loud, they must increase the volume levels; this is when damage begins to occur and tinnitus cause will rear its ugly head.
Many people are unaware of tinnitus until they have it, then realizing how debilitating it can be. Having only tinnitus remedies and no cure, it is necessary to know how to prevent from having tinnitus.
So it is my opinion the best tinnitus cure is education! Teach kids about it in school and in college, the same way that sex education is taught!
