Symptoms of Age Related Macular Degeneration

Macular degeneration attacks the central part of the retina, with the formation of additional blood cells beneath the retina. The growth of these blood cells causes leaking of fluids from the eyes, often resulting in scar tissue and eventual loss of sight.

As we age, macular degeneration is one of the most common cause of blindness in people 50 years or older.
