For example, in pregnant females, they often occur because of the downward pressure from the fetus pushing down on the intestines.
The usual treatment for hemorrhoids is the over the counter cream or suppositories that are applied externally to the hemorrhoids. For removal, the process is slightly more difficult.
Probably the most popular form of hemorrhoid removal is a process called rubber band ligation or hemorrhoid banding. This is a simple procedure in which an actual rubber band is utilized. There are two types of hemorrhoids - external and internal and the process is slightly different for each type.
